In each case, UKEAS collects such information for the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with UKEAS. We do not disclose personally-identifying information. In the case of education exhibitions and fairs, we may pass on you contact details to participation schools that you met with in person, with the agreement that those schools may contact you with further information.
We use an SSL certificate to encrypt all data on our website, which means that all data sent via the submitted form is only visible to UKEAS. This helps to protect online users against hackers, who try to steal users’ information.

The backups are only kept for a maximum of 5 weeks and are then deleted, thus adhering to Art. 17 of the GDPR (the right to be forgotten).
It is also in our interest to periodically commission a review and test our data and security technologies in the form of a Website Critical Security Analysis performed by a third-party expert. It is important to us that all websites and database systems are kept as secure as possible and prevented from DDOS attacks and SQL injections.
